In keeping with his deliberate and decisive decision-making style, Sam Abdullah, CEO and Founder of TaxRise, didn’t need long to commit to joining forces with the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation. TaxRise became the first-ever presenting sponsor of our annual Western Roundup, a 28-year tradition of fun and revelry for kids with cancer and their families. The result was a day of pure delight for everyone involved, including Sam and his employees who helped infuse the day with energy and excitement.
With his own personal tie to cancer, Sam instinctively understood the value of providing a cancer-free day outside the hospital walls for our kids. For over 80 oncology families who were treated to carnival games, a petting zoo with pony rides, multiple bounce houses, and a Ferris wheel, the day will be one for the memory books. They, like us, are already looking forward to next year!
