powering cures, realizing futures

Hannah

At 10 years old, Hannah was diagnosed with Osterosarcoma and underwent 10 months of chemotherapy and limb salvage.

Hannah stated in her scholarship application essay that “Cancer has severely impacted my life goals and values. I gained a passion for fundraising, awareness and patient support.  While I had a difficult journey, I would not change my experience as it has made me a better person and taught me to give back to people when they are struggling.”

Today, Hannah is attending the University of Hartford where she studies business and psychology.  She hopes to work for a nonprofit children’s organization in the future.
