COME ON DOWN TO OUR WESTERN ROUND UP
Join us for a fun day celebrating oncology families from all over Southern California. The Western Round Up is PCRF’s only FUN-raiser event each year, and our team looks forward to hosting a “cancer-free” afternoon outside the hospital walls. Let us bring a smile to your child’s face with carnival games, attractions, petting zoo, reptiles, fishing, crafts, prizes and more!
On this day the patients become the sheriffs! Each child will receive a sheriff’s badge for the day upon arrival. Together with your family you can enjoy a worry-free experience at an enclosed, private park where kids can roam free. There are prizes and experiences at every corner. Lunch is provided thanks to our friends at In-N-Out Burger.
Everyone will gather for the Flight of the Doves at 2:45pm in honor of those who have fought cancer. Dove Tributes are available to those who want to make a donation in Memory or in Honor of a Cancer Warrior.
Are you part of an oncology family, or know someone who is? We will add you to our mailing list so you receive an invitation by mail for next year’s event! PCRF is happy to work with oncology departments, social workers, support groups, etc. to bring families together on this special day.
Contact our office for opportunities for sponsors, underwriting, or volunteering and we will connect you up with this great event!
11th annual PCRF east coast Golf Tournament
Mark your calendars for PCRF’s 11th annual Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation Golf Tournament! Each year we kick-off with a continental breakfast, followed by 18 holes of golf. You and your foursome can have friendly competitions with the on-course contest holes, raffle opportunities, and more. Following the tournament play, golfers will have time to freshen up before cocktail hour begins! Golfers will join more dinner guests for our evening program and live auction.
Proceeds form this longtime favorite golf outing is in support of Dr. Cairo and the research at the PCRF Laboratory. This lifesaving research is happening at the Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital, at Westchester Medical Center and New York Medical College.
