The Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation’s commitment to accountability and transparency have earned another 4-star rating from Charity Navigator.
Throughout our 35 years of supporting pediatric cancers, we have maintained a stable foundation financially. Four years in a row, PCRF has been awarded a 4-Star rating from Charity Navigator, which is the highest rating given. This third party, unbiased and objective non-profit ratings website evaluates an organization’s financial health, accountability and transparency.
We operate in the top 11% of charities who have received the highest rating for multiple years. Most noteworthy, PCRF also leads its competitors in the top 5% of the nation’s non profits focused on pediatric cancer. Our donors can have confidence in our ability to fund the best researchers in the world, with the utmost attention to financial efficacy.
“This exceptional designation from Charity Navigator sets Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation apart from its peers and demonstrates to the public its trustworthiness,” according to Michael Thatcher, President & CEO of Charity Navigator. “Out of the thousands of nonprofits Charity Navigator evaluates, only one out of four earns 4 stars. This is a rating that demands rigor, responsibility and commitment to openness. PCRF supporters should feel confident that their hard-earned dollars are being used responsibly when it acquires such a high rating.”
“It’s important that our donors trust that we’re using our funding wisely to accomplish our mission,” said Jeri Wilson, Executive Director of PCRF. “Our continued 4-star Charity Navigator rating demonstrates to our supporters that they have made the right investment in choosing PCRF.”
