PCRF College Scholarship Opportunities
2017 will be the first class of recipients of the PCRF Scholarship Award!
The PCRF Scholarship Committee will award annual scholarships to demonstrate a commitment to improving the quality of life for those affected by pediatric cancer. The focus of the scholarship is on supporting secondary and/or post graduate education for survivors of pediatric cancer. This scholarship is offered nationwide. PCRF invites any pediatric cancer survivor to be a part of this first class of scholarship recipients! Apply today!
Applicants for this scholarship award must be:
1.Graduating high school seniors, community college students or 4 yearuniversity students who have been treated for pediatric cancer may apply. A note from the treating doctor must also be supplied to certify that the applicant has been in treatment.
2.Students who are enrolled full time for the upcoming term.
3.Minimum 2.5 GPA.
Scholarships totaling up to $10,000 are awarded
to 1-4 students annually.
Recipients are selected without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sex, handicap, or national origin.
Selection of Recipients
The PCRF Scholarship Committee will review applications and asses them based on quality of essay, intentions of the scholar, and the completeness of the application. Winners will be notified by early summer.
To be considered for a scholarship, you must submit in one large envelope:
•An original plus two copies of your completed application and essay
•A copy of your official transcript.
•2 letters of recommendation still sealed in its original envelope and signedby the sender across the seal.
•A recent photo.
All materials must be postmarked by Friday, May 26, 2017. Earlier applications are appreciated. All materials should be mailed to:
